En stor ære og dekorere til fredsprisen
I 21 år har Torbjørn « Tobbe» Åkesson vært ansvarlig for design og blomsterdekor til Nobel fredspris. Han er vår Event ansvarlig og sammen med sitt dyktige team hos Finn Schjøll Storgaten, gjør de mange store og små blomsteroppdrag gjennom året.
Valg av blomster til Nobels 2016
Colombia er en av verdens største produsenter av nelliker og roser. De kaller seg selv «Land of Flowers».
Vi brukte fargerike roser og nelliker fra Colombia. I tillegg ble det brukt Cattleya. Denne flotte, eksklusive orkideen er Colombias nasjonalblomst.
FLOWERS NOBEL PEACE PRIZE 2016
We congratulate the Nobel Peace Prize winner, Colombia’s President Juan Manuel Santos.
He received the award for his efforts to bring a peace agreement with the FARC guerrillas in Colombia. The agreement put an end to over 50 years of civil war in the country.
A great honour
Torbjørn “Tobbe” Åkesson, Event manager by Finn Schjøll Storgaten, created and designed the flowers. For the last 21 years he has made the flowerdesign for the Nobel Peace Prize, first time was in 1996.
Colombia has one of the biggest productions of Carnations and roses in the world. They call themselves “Land of flowers”. We used colorful carnations and roses produced in Colombia. We also used some Cattleya. This beautiful, exclusive orchid, is the national flower of Colombia.
